La Jolla offers an amazing dining experience and wonderful atmosphere. We went for dinner on a Friday evening and were greeted immediately. The staff was very friendly and sat us at a table overlooking the restaurant. Michael was our server and he was incredible. He offered suggestions and took the time to answer all our questions. I had the ribeye filet with fried okra. It was cooked to perfect medium rare. The okra was tasty, but I'll try another side next time. My girlfriend had the double bone in pork chop with mac and cheese. The pork chop was out of this world! She ordered it well done, which I thought would come out dry, but was I wrong! The pork chop was so juicy that we almost needed a napkin to soak it up. I will definitely be a frequent dinner here as there were many more items on the menu that I want to try. I highly recommend you checking this place out!

La Jolla is a go-to date night or nice dinner for us. The menu is evergreen for the season so always keeps us trying new things. Most recently we enjoyed the quail wings with a really tasty but not overly spicy hot sauce as an appetizer, and both the scallop pasta and snapper risotto were satisfying dinner dishes! Had to finish with Limoncello cheesecake too!

Relaxed vibe, delicious food, not bad prices. Recommend getting reservations and an early table for best availability. Sometimes you can walk in and get a seat at the bar. Lighting is dim so you might need to squint or use your phone to see the menu. I've had the La Jolla burger, the lamb chops with pear gastrique and the picanha steak. All were good. Last night I got the picanha steak. It was a wonderful medium rare with a side of mild blue cheese sauce. The sauce didn't punch you in the face like most blue cheese. It was a perfect pairing for the steak. The menu is subject to change. They no longer had the risotto and I noticed the ingredients for the La Jolla burger have changed over time. Military discount. Very good place for an anniversary or similar occasion.

I took my mother out for dinner to celebrate an early Mother's Day, She's been here before and loves this place. The food was amazing, the cocktails were mixed perfectly, the staff was very engaging, and the owner was wonderful to talk to. Absolutely a fantastic little place well worth the price

I was traveling through on way to Florida. I searched high and low, including asking people for one of the best places to eat coming through. After some research, although it was about 30 minutes out of the way, the menu along with so many 5 Star Reviews guided me here. EXCELLENT customer service! EXCELLENT food! The BEST homemade HOT bread with a sweet like butter. I have had a lot of wedge salads in my life, and once again, literally the BEST ever!! The fillet was tender and flavorful. David and Steve were very attentive and are definitely a fine example of EXCELLENCE when it comes to customer service. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and the ambience is very unique and inviting. I reassure you I would be happy to go out of my way again to eat here and highly recommend you try this place.

We were looking for a place to stop while driving from Atlanta to New Orleans and this place was perfect! The menu was a bit daunting at first, with influence from several cuisines, however the staff made some very helpful recommendations and the food was excellent! We had the porkchop, hoppin' johns, red snapper, risotto and a wedge salad. Everything was delicious and very well made, very flavorful without being too salty and very well-balanced. I have to call out the cheesecake on its own because it was TASTY-- a unique, lemony twist while still having the core taste and texture of a traditional NY cheesecake. Everyone who worked there was extremely attentive and friendly in a genuine and charming way.

Great service and ambiance!Reservations are recommended but my friend and I were able to be seated at a high top table as walk-ins.Service was superb!I was able to order a sidecar as an off menu item which tasted amazing! The tuna nachos were fresh and very flavorful. The wagyu was perfectly cooked to medium but not the best cut.The portion size was ample but there was more fat on the steak than I would prefer. The sear was also borderline too heavy but perfect for my taste. The broccoli was quite tasteful as well. The key lime cheesecake is highly recommended! There's soft lighting throughout the venue which really sets the tone for an enjoyable evening. I will definitely be adding the location to my favorites in the area.

Went here for my birthday. Recommended by a coworker. Nice place, small and intimate. Tastefully decorated. The service was fantastic. We had the calamari for a starter. I ordered the blackened gulf swordfish with crawfish ettouffe and basmati rice. It was good and had some heat. I would guess habanero powder/salt. He had the wagyu picanha steak with fries. For dessert, the chocolate cake with salted carmel sauce. Everything was very good. I already know what I am going to order next time.
